You see all the TikTok morning routines (why do they always look so good)? But no one really talks about a nighttime routine. I have one that sets me up for a great day ahead, and this episode is going to share it all with you!
In this episode, we’ll dive into the importance of a nighttime routine and a tip on how to shape your subconscious and set the tone for a good freaking day tomorrow.
The Nighttime Routine You Didn’t Know You Needed
We’ve all heard about the importance of a morning routine, but what about your bedtime routine? Believe it or not, the hour before you crash is prime real estate for training your subconscious to work for you, not against you. I know, it sounds deep, but bear with me.
Our subconscious runs the show, but here’s the kicker—it’s based on old patterns and habits we’ve been carrying around since we were little. So, that hour before bed? It’s your golden opportunity to sneak in some positive mojo and start rewriting those old scripts.
Step 1: Celebrate Those Wins (Yes, Even the Small Ones)
First things first, take a minute to review your day. What went right today? And no, it doesn’t have to be earth-shattering. Maybe your win was finally getting to enjoy a hot coffee without reheating it five times. Or maybe you survived a day at the park with your kids without once checking your phone. It’s about the little things, people!
Why? Because our brains are wired to be Negative Nancies. Back in caveman days, our brains had to be on high alert to survive. These days, getting cut off in traffic triggers the same alarm bells. So, unless you train your brain to focus on the positive, it’ll default to doom and gloom.
Step 2: Manifest Tomorrow’s Wins
Here’s where things get fun. Before you doze off, I want you to say out loud (or write down) what tomorrow’s wins are going to be. Yes, you read that right—predict your future like the boss you are. “Tomorrow, I’m going to spend 10 minutes in glorious, uninterrupted silence.” Or maybe, “I’m so excited to send that text to my friend I’ve been meaning to reach out to.” Say it, mean it, and visualize it like it’s already happened. The secret? Your brain can’t tell the difference between what’s real and what’s imagined—so when you wake up, you’re more likely to make it happen.
Why This Works
When you start your day with a mindset of “I’m already winning,” you’re setting the tone for everything else. You speak to yourself differently, you treat yourself better, and—guess what?—you’re going to eat better, too. It’s all connected, my friend.
So give it a try tonight. Celebrate those wins and visualize tomorrow’s. Then let me know how it changes the game for you!
