Here’s the truth: diets are designed to make you feel like a failure. Why? Because if you succeed, you stop buying their programs, powders, and shakes. And they simply can’t have that.
The Myth of Willpower
Let me clear something up: your willpower isn’t broken. It’s just tired of being asked to fight battles it was never meant to win. The problem isn’t you—it’s the rules.
- No eating after 7 PM? Guess what, your body doesn’t own a clock.
- No carbs? Enjoy your grumpy, low-energy spiral.
Food isn’t the enemy. The rules are.
Listening to Your Body: It’s Not Woo-Woo, It’s Science
Imagine treating your body like a trusted friend instead of a rebellious teenager. What if, instead of punishing it, you listened? Your body is constantly sending signals—it’s hungry, it’s full, it wants ice cream. (Okay, maybe that last one’s just me.)
Learning to trust these signals can feel scary at first, especially if you’re used to ignoring them. But it’s also freeing. You don’t need a chart to tell you how to eat. You just need to tune in.
